Camden's recent accomplishments/fascinations/changes are:
- lids and caps - he can spend lots of time trying to put the cap on top of his bottle, which is apparently way more interesting than actually drinking from the bottle - the other night found matching tupperware and lid in the tupperware drawer (which I can't even seem to do) and was trying to put the lid on
stepping on and into things - large cook pot, tiny coolwhip bowl, or bucket of dirty water Camden will attempt to get into it- opening and closing doors - which can lead to much frustration when he gets stuck behind a closed door or minor injury when it's a spring loaded door
- ca, guh, fsh - parent translation: saying cat, dog and fish
- high pitch caterwauling and arrhythmic bouncing - parent translation: singing and dancing particularly when Old Mac Donald plays on his toy tractor
- head banging on whatever's handy - the back of the high chair, the wood floor, the dog, your sternum
- finding (or sometimes just looking) for things when we ask him
- doing baby-sign for milk (but meaning any food, not just milk)
- drinking cow's milk (which he seems to love - just like his daddy)
- eating solids - he can now tackle Cheerios, peas, blueberries, crackers, toast, bits of bagel, mac n cheese, peaches, kiwi, pancakes and lot's more
- walking like crazy, short spurts of running often ending in spectacular faceplants and sometimes tears
- giving hugs when asked - so frickin' cute - he even hugs the dog!
- playing hide and seek - we hide around a corner and he comes and finds us, hilarity ensues
- turning the stereo up - and up - and up (that one he gets from mama)
- sometimes crying when mama leaves for work in the morning
- turning pages in books, even ones that aren't board books without ripping them
- climbing up on the step stool
- turning the lights on and off when asked (and within reach of the light switch)
