We've been terrible about keeping this updated lately. It's been a rough winter - Kirk and I both had the flu at different times, we all had a stomach bug, and Cam seems to get over a cold and then get another within days. He's been through lots of antibiotics, but we're thankful he never go the flu, or the RSV that went through his school and his lungs sound good.
He had a checkup at the CF clinic last week. Lungs sound clear, but his BMI is down again so we're watching that closely and go back in 2 months instead of 3. He's on a pretty high dose of enzymes, he just hasn't been eating much. Apparently all toddlers go through an anerexic stage and he's smack dab in the middle of it. He's asserting his independance and has been challanging at mealtime and during treatments. We're incorporating some new strategies, though, so hopefully it will get easier.
He learned how to use the jewelry hammers (he calls them bammers).
Stuff he's saying:
Chelsey: What do you want for breakfast Camden?
Camden: Roast beef!
Camden: I had nice dreams last night.
Camden: Should we... (instead of I want to)
Camden: Mama's car goes zoom! (it is a Mazda)
Camden: Odin, be quiet! Sit!
Kirk: What does the Goldfinch say?
Camden: Potato-house! Potato-house! (then laughs, it's a joke because he knows it should be potato-chip)
He's been watching videos during treatments. I think his favorite right now is Busy People, but he often changes his mind and can't stand Busy People. He's also been allowed to watch a couple of videos on the computer. His favorite right now is this story read by David Tennant that he loves! He asks to watch "Baby David" thanks to his potty book Auntie Kim gave him for Christmas that has Elmo and Elmo's doll baby David.
