More Cam Videos & Good News

I shot some Cam videos with my phone a few days ago. You can really see he's coming along as a little guy. He's talking up a storm and doing all kinds of things. He's answering questions and I'm amazed at the things he knows. Today at the Doctor's office he said "Hi Dr. Mac" and "Hi Sandy"

We went around the room and when I pointed to things he named the lights, ceiling, floor, doors, chairs, table, sink, paper towels, etc. He's repeating everything he hears.

Before I get to the videos, we have an important announcement. At Cam's doctor appointment today we found that he is now OVER the 50th percentile for height to weight ratio! Ya-hoo! It has taken a lot of work to get him there (not to mention a lot of heavy whipping cream.) We're also considering enrolling Cam in a clinical trial of inhaled hypertonic saline. It is being used with great success in older kids and adults but there have been no trials with kids Cam's age. It could be a big benefit for him (possibly not getting as many respiratory infections this winter) but it would mean an extra 15 minutes of nebs both in the morning and evening which would mean 30 minutes of nebs in the morning and 30 in the evening. That's a LOT of time for a toddler to sit still.

Anyhow, here's the videos. This first one is Cam standing on the back steps calling our dog Odin. Cam is madly in love with that dog.

In this next one, Cam imitates the crow calling in the neighbor's tree. He seems interested in birds. I wonder who he gets that from?
