To quote Beastie Boys -- "No sleep til Brooklyn". Our own little beastie is still not sleeping through the night and has in this last week decided that the middle of the night is the perfect time for an eat attack. Much like we would savor an evening at Buca for a couple of hours, Camden takes his time, nursing over two hours. Lots of fun. All of the books say what an awesome experience breast feeding is were lying. It's exhausting, boring, and frustrating. But since it's so much better for Camden, I'm sticking with it.
I'm going back to work 3 days a week now and it's great! It's nice to be out of the house, something we're not doing much with the baby due to cold/flu season. It's a little rough, thanks to those marathon feedings, but I'm doing a lot better with the lack of sleep than I thought I would.

Otherwise, things are going well. Cam has his fussy times, but he's starting to be a lot more interactive. He smiles much more now (nope, still haven't caught it on camera) and carries on conversation with you. He gets a little cross-eyed staring at his hands. He loves watching his mobiles (one above the crib and

one above the changing pad) and follows the animals around with his eyes by moving his head. Speaking of changing, after our trial of several kinds of cloth diapers, we've decided to go mostly with Kushies.

Let me tell you, diapers have come a long way, baby. They're so much easier to use. The Kushies take longer time to dry than some others, but the cost and the ease of use is what sold us on them. I liked the Fuzzi Bunz a lot, too, but Kirk was annoyed by the snaps. Now we won't have to was diapers quite as much as before, which will be nice.

Don't you just love it when they discover their hands. Grace used to be in the middle of just screaming and all of the sudden she would see her hand and stop and look at it like it was a whole new experience.
Glad to see things are going well.
